Hallowheels: Ring the Bells

We began our mission at the Buttonwood Park Base Camp with 23 pilots, cadets, and klingons in total, most sporting fantastic disguises. As we set off we could see the hoards of zombies in the distance so we knew it was our time to save the world!! We began our first stop with a scavenger hunt to find the key that opens the bell tower. It was hidden by the leader of the zombie hoard and protected by an intergalactic mother of two. Once we found the key the we used our sonic disruptors to create the perfect lure away from our Safe Zone. As we watched them stumble their way over the horizon we saddled up and were off to the next stop.

This one included a series of numbers all out of sequence. We put our heads together as a group and BAZOINGA! We solved the code, input it into the big metal door protecting the precious bell and set off our sonic disruptors once again, calling them closer and closer to us. On the way to the next stop we were joined by a group of rogue astronauts off on their own mission who’s ship skills were pretty rad. We rode, some surfed, our way to the next stop to find a set of alien hieroglyphics, some odd block shapes laid out across the ground. This riddle was much more difficult and required the expertise of Captain Civitron to solve it.

After what felt like a whole revolution around the sun we were finally able to lure the zombies to the last location. Planet Play in the Union St quadrant of our galaxy. We quickly gathered ourselves inside as they stood, groaning and waiting for us to come back. We began our mini-mission at Planet Play with an ancient film and the most delicious space food and drink we’d ever had. Many pilots and cadets took some time to complete tasks on Planet Play including virtual battles of good vs. evil and space hockey. Eventually the zombies got tired and decided to roam away from us looking for better and more accessible brains.

Once we knew the coast was clear, we left the safety of the base on Planet Play to knight RedBeard, Firefly, Zardoz, and Ledgehammer as official pilots of the New Bedford Starchasers. With all the commotion the zombies could hear us again and were on their way back towards Planet Play. During the trip back to Buttonwood Park Base some of our pilots took off in their own direction to their home planets, slowly leading groups of zombies off into outer space until there were none left. We saved the galaxy once again!!
