Waltor Day Carnival
The Lexington System went all out to help us celebrate Waltor Day by
providing carnival rides and cotton candy molecules.
We left in two sorties. The first sortie made an early launch and
headed up the minuteman wormhole through the Cambridge and Arlington
Systems to the Lexington system. Nosepicker and Swass headed back to
lead the second sortie, but the rest of us continued onward to the
carnival. Upon arriving we all said, "dude, what's that smell?"
We took a brief tour of the place and then got right to trying out the
rides. Waltor and Diva tested their superhero powers by riding
superman style on a spinning ride. The ride lasted longer than
expected because the Carnie running it dozed off. All of us then took
over the Ferris wheel to get a better view of the carnival and
Lexington system. Then a few took on other g-force activities like the
"Freak out" "Remix" and "Sea dragon." The rest of the group sampled
We then all met up by some picnic tables to share our experiences.
"Dude, you smell that? Smells like Dark matter"
"Moose, what did you eat"
Moose replies, "Well, I had a hotdog. Then I got some fried dough and
I had some french fries and cotton candy and some chicken fingers"
"Whoa. What do you recommend?"
"I recommend not eating all that"
Then we saw Joyride totally putting the moves on some x wing at the
carnival and I was thinking, "man, he is smooth." He later introduced
her as being his wife. That boy acts fast.
So we still had some time to kill waiting for the second sortie, so we
decided to try out our derby skills on these mini transports called
"bumper cars." Since it was the end of the night we were allowed to
play several rounds.
Finally the second sortie arrived with Swass, UglySac, Nosepicker,
Nameless, Schemey, and Buntjigger. They met up with us and and said,
"what's that smell?" The carnival was closing, but they made it just
in time to test out the port-a-john ride and the mudslide.
We then all headed back via Planet MassAve stopping only briefly to
fix a dropped chain. All in all a great mission.
