Common Rat Race On Wheels

Mission Summary

The fleet started off by hosting a friendly fleet of civilian space rats at the fort. This was part of an event for Do-It-Yourself Community Bike Organization CommonWheels which was celebrating their eleventh orbital by hosting an all-day event called the Allston Rat Race. Fleet Admiral Skunk, Red Squirrel, Rad Max, and other pilots operated a refueling depot and demonstrated how to properly operate our advanced machinery from choppers to HARVs and any participant who was able to fly one of our ships got a punch on their race card. Many space rat racers tried multiple ships! Cheers rang out for first HARV rides and anybody who could tame some of the more wild long-forked choppers.

After they'd finished refueling they continued on their space race. The fleet flew out a bit after them, encountering them in as we orbited the Allston System, engaging friendly class 1 sonic disruption back and forth. We eventually made it to where we had expected a distress call from them, but they had not arrived yet. We did pick up pilot Deadblow here, waved to Pastry Queen, and passed off a class 2 sonic disruptor to Lord McFuzz.

We then continued on through the Allston system and then through Cambridge and Watertown before returning to the full distress call a bit after. There were countless civilian craft anchored in front of the main hall. There was a band, food, and many exhausted racers. On request we supplied groove when the band went to refuel. After attending to the distress call for some time, the fleet departed back to Ft. Antwerp.
