Operation

Y2K Buggin

This mission was missing from the SCUL archives and has been recreated from memory in the year 2021.

While it seems silly to be afraid, some pilots were not taking chances about what was going to happen when the calendars and clocks rolled over, so they insisted on taking their civiships on the mission, in case they needed to make a fast getaway and leave their fellow pilots in the dust. We brought a police scanner with us just in case we needed intel, which proved amusing at most - someone who was listening said a stink bomb went off at the Middle East Club, but who knows for sure.

Like most New Years events, there was a fair amount of drinking going on, both inside and outside the group. There was a lot of dancing by the steaming globe, and we had a great time. Those who opted for their civiships were heard saying they regretted their decision, which is a nice way sum up that all was well.

We had a new recruit - Trash Dragon, who changed her name to Trouble by the night's end, but most of that is classified.
