Mission Summary

The mission could be summed with one word "Mechanical!" However, despite our misfortunes, we still were determined to enjoy ourselves--which seemed to occur in slow motion. Within the first two light years, Famine suffered an irrecoverable hull break, forcing us to abandon ship. NoWay carried the shipless pilot on the back of FullPull and we continued onward with the mission. Vegetable led us (at a record-setting slow pace) through several alleyways. Some food was so taken by our group that they forgot that they were driving transports, and three of them crashed into each other. We awaited assistance from an ST then headed on to the Christian Science Center. Again, we stopped to fix yet another mechanical. Debating whether or not to derby, we came across a security guard who was concerned that every time he spots our fleet he has witnessed "unsafe plaza behavior." Assuming that a derby would not be the best thing to do at this time we decided to ride through some streets. Again we encountered more mechanical blunders, so we decided to head home….at a very slow pace. Despite the failure of the mission, we still had fun and looked forward to more flights…at light speed.
