Sangamon Taylor
Sangamon Taylor is a 17' Coleman polyethene canoe with aluminum frame, combined with a battle-tested trailer rig so it can be towed by a ship and deployed on a mission. It carries up to four pilots with ease. Its namesake was wont to make trouble driving Zodiac inflatable rafts around Boston waterways in the eponymous novel by Neal Stephenson. We hope he would be pleased to have the first craft in the SCUL Freshwater Navy named after him.
