Disco Diva Dance Party

This saturnite we flew for Donna, all the other disco, funk, andgroove queens, and the Disco Diva inside all of us! After launch we immediately began to cruise through the surrounding constellations via the main trade routes at an energetic pace, stopping at Luna 7/11 for a brief shore leave and refueling. Zig-zag maneuvers were performed around a cognitive augmentation facility outside Kendall constellation and then we finally crossed the fringe of the system to hold a dance party at an undisclosed location.

Under the energetic glow of the disco death star many pilots danced
as if possessed by the funk, its rays reflecting off of their polyester spacesuits. Some pilots we so moved by the music that they spontaneously sprouted divalicious hairdos. The native fauna was also moved as some pilots discovered - a nearby deep space avian life form sang along with our groove machines.

Eventually we could resist the space lanes no longer. We saddled up and took off for the stars once again. Energized by the disco death star we flew back through all the major constellations but utilizing secondary routes, even folding into wormholes at points. Unfortunately it was discovered in mid-fold that the flagship's primary thruster was running low on plasma but we managed to
recharge it before popping out the far end of the wormhole.

To avoid getting the flagship stranded far from port we decided to chart course for home, though we took the scenic route and buzzed pilot Zygoat at her post, just before we landed. To cheer up the Admiral, Stogie reenacted the garbage compactor scene from St4rW4r5 when he navigated his high altitude recon vehicle into a transport docking station up a ramp that provided less and less altitude for him to maneuver until he squeezed out, just in the nick of time!

We netted a hefty number of high fives from our many constellation crossings and upon return to base we called them out they were counted. Through the entire debrief though, by the spirit of Donna, we could not bring ourselves to turn down the music and the admiral joyously danced about and sang the closing ceremonies.

R.I.P. Donna, you will be missed.
