Mission Summary

The battalian decided to head for vittles at a Luna Bovas in the NorthEnd System. Skunk was not present this mission as he had some previous boogeying engagements, so the fleet had to make do without the fleet admiral. Two pilots were promoted: Smasher to commodore and Bushido became the full bird. Asher christened her ship MoxieMoron which is held together by hose clamps and zipties! The fleet headed out led by Bushido. We had a large gathering surround us upon our arrival at Luna Bovas where we stocked up on sugar molecules. We then headed for derby. Moneyshot showed his derby chicken which indicated our task. The arena: government center. The first derby was a face off between Maddog and Moneyshot. Maddog, distracted by civilians and videocam lost track of his ribbon and was beaten by Moneyshot. The second derby had another faceoff between the same two pilots…but this time it was Maddog who was victorious. The fleet had a third derby here and this time Pikachu won. Moose got 9 ribbons. Inari had kept one of her captured ribbons in her teeth which was later grabbed by accident by Moose. In all it was an exciting derby. ST's in the area made us decide to head for a place that we could be more incognito. We headed across the Longfellow Bridge did a few donuts by the flaming globe and headed onwards to the world of inground lighting. Another derby ensued and yet again. High gusts of 30 light years per earth hour made this a challenging derby location. The unstoppable Moneyshot won. Afterwards we headed towards the fort hoping to derby by the luna MarketBasket, but decided not to vaporize the ST which was waiting for us and continued back to base on a peaceful-incident free and mechanical-free mission.
