May The 4th Be Little Free Library Day on Tatooine?

Blurb:
This is a mission that had been hyped up by Stogie and Threespeed for several years: to fly to several LITTLE FREE LIBR----Shhh! to little free libraries. This mission also fell on Star Wars Day and unfortunately fell just a day after news of Peter Mayhew's passing. So in addition to visiting libraries, pilots made sure to pay tribute to Chewbacca, fly choppers, eat snacks, and play on a playground all while avoiding mechanicals and keeping radiation-free. PIlots embarked on their adventure, books in hand.

Reviewers of this mission say:
"not psychotically dangerous but not boring either" -Tyrian

"I may regret these Hot Fries" -Vomit

Our Mission Book report:
Chapter 1: Launch
A certain pilot arrived at Wombat O'clock (ok it was Wombat) also known as T minus 5 earth minutes to launch. Upon our arrival to the launchpad his ship, Cloudbuster suffered an issue with its Zoobs. Pilots dreaded that the mission may be in immediate peril, but apparently after looking and shaking and not really doing anything, it just worked. With one real maggot and no ships to christen, pilots were hopeful that this mission would remain mechanical free. So we headed out with our first taste of Stogie's music library. We listened to interesting renditions of Beat It, to songs about Chewbacca, to a song about Sweatpants, to songs about reading a good good book. Pilots were really into his audiobook.

Chapter 2: Libraries
We headed through the Somerville system to two libraries. The first one was quite full of books and even more full after we added a few of our own. Stop two was right near Fort Summer. This library had the added feature of spinning around. Zygoat met us outside of the 2nd library. Pilot enthusiasm upon seeing Zygoat made it so that we found it difficult to maintain silent running and we got shushed by a couple pilots reminding us that were we at a library.

We proceeded through the Harvard constellation to our third library. Each time we stopped we would donate a book. As Diva pulled out her copy of The Scarlet Letter she said, "I probably should have donated this to the last one by the church instead of Lolita." This library was not as full as the first two and we realized we probably ought to pace our delivery of books. When we left, it once again had a pretty full library.

Chapter 3: Snacks
A stop at luna 7-11 allowed us to refuel. Vomit bought Simply Tuna sandwich molecules that contained about 100 ingredients other than tuna. She also bought Hot Fries, which she was eager to get rid of--I mean, to share. After trying them, we were unimpressed in their refueling abilities yet somehow kept eating them. A few pilots tried to get the taste out of their mouths by following up with some gummy shark molecules and ice cream molecules. While on shore leave, a few pilots took out some chalk to remind folks of the importance of reading books (even while farting).

Chapter 4: The Boston System
The remaining libraries on our mission were in the Boston System. Dr.Claw led us across the Planet MassAve bridge into deep space where there was both a playground and library (as well as some fuel dumping facilities). After trying out these facilities, pilots sat down for storytime. Ms. Moon told us a great tale of a fearless civilian named Cricket who had a magic tool belt that she used to protect her from an evil old woman, an Ogre, and helped her tame 12 lions. Pilots were relieved that Cricket's story had a happy ending even after she had eaten some pills that kids really shouldn't have access to.

After story time we headed towards TheBostonGreenway to our last two libraries. These last two libraries had only 2 or 3 books in each of them, so we made sure to replenish their supply with what we had left. There were some giant swing benches that we also tested out. We wished we had a magic tool belt so we could spray some WD40 on one that squeaked. At our final library Stogie also read us some details about wombats and other creatures in a book he had.

Chapter 5: The return to Fort
Dr. Claw decided to lead us through TheLocks across a narrow section of the Charles nebula on our way back to the Cambridge system, putting our handling skills to the test. This increased the tech rating of a mission that already had involved maneuvering past smooching civilians in a tight overhead walkway and crouching tall bikes through some low clearance areas.

Despite this we returned to fort both injury free and mechanical free, but still regretting those Hot Fries.
