Operation
Word To Your Mother!
We flew out of Fort Tyler a little late as pilots attempted to keep
the Disco Death Star safely secured to Cloudbuster for the night's
mission. Catastrophe was back on the road with its newly rebuilt
primary thruster permanently installed. Thanks to Wombat and
Threespeed!

With Nosepicker navigating the mission, route in mind, we set out
across the local constellations to honor Luna Mom Shops and Moms
throughout the universe and beyond (in spirit). Wasting no time, we
flew straight through the Cambridge System and hit the Salt n' Pepper
Bridge within the hour. Transports were heavy and the gang got split
up at the end of the bridge. With no problems, we were back on track
in Boston toward our destination...

We found Mama Duck and her ducklings and decided to halt and hang
around in her honor. After a few people rode YerMom (some for their
first time) and a couple of memory shots, we flew onward toward our
local constellations. Cloudbuster was having some trouble with its
sonic disrupter dish, but we quickly solved the problem. Within
seconds, "Mechanical!" was heard throughout the fleet and in the
rear, a quick fix was made and, again, we set off!

Past the Common with got split again with heavy traffic separating
the fleet. We kept our cool and kept on thrusting and gracefully
reunited. Soon enough, we got caught in a black hole by the Mother
Church, but all pilots safely exited and we quickly set off to
refuel.

We stopped at Luna 7/11 in the Central Constellation for fuel, of
course, and other tasty morsels. We brought the funk and the local
civilians seemed to enjoy it. As Skunk made a new friend, a civilian
got arrested and the pilots took advantage of chalk bag and made many
masterpieces for Moms. Seven and her guest Litterbox split and we
headed out to find some space to derby.

In minutes we were at a cozy spot and Cloudbuster set down her
landing gear. Time to derby! After only a few battles, Dr. Claw
obliterated Devastation's rear thruster in a stunning collision.
Vomit and Kpafun set to work with tool bag... disappearing with a
taco and returning with a seemingly flat thruster. Hmmmmm...

The fleet decided it was a nice place to kick it, so we hung out for
a while and made sure that everyone rode YerMom at least once. Many
pilots attempted the horror of Moneypenny with great success! Posi!
Skunk decided to give her a shot and she tossed him, crushing
Molecules and bending the helm. Oops.

After chatting, hooping, fueling, climbing trees, repairing and
sharing ships, we set back to the launch pad. At Luna Market Basket,
the fleet targeted a bottle and set to destroy it! After many futile
attempts, we finally called it a night, cracked a few mom jokes and
set back to the fort.

Over all, a successful mission! Word to your mom.
