Threespeed excellently navigated the fleet through heavy space
turbulence, and all along our patrols, SCUL was cheered on by hoots,
hollers, high-5s and civies dancing in the streets.
We made sure to stop at Luna Katz's for refueling on savory grenades,
many pilots stocked up on reserve fuel as this is considered some of
the highest quality savory grenade available in the Massachusetts
Galaxy. Others took the opportunity to investigate a previously
unknown entity called the "bagel dog". A report is pending but initial
response seemed posi.
SCUL arrived at the distress call to find a historic Spice Mining
Station in need of our assistance. The wind off the nearby nebula
proved a challenge, but the Spice Miners had prepared by setting up a
cozy fire on the banks. The resulting shore leave was so pleasant that
extended its stay quite a bit longer than usual. But our trusty
navigator knew there were higher tech ratings out there still waiting
for us, so the fleet moved on to finish our mission.
Again, the civilians cheered and danced through our return flight
through the Chelsea System. We then continued on to a fairly
comprehensive and intricately patterned patrol through our more
regular terrain in the Cambridge System. This particular time in the
SCUL season is marked by a massive surge in the migrant food reserves.
Pilots made sure to increase the level of high-fives.
Our mission complete, we returned to base, satisfied at a job well
done, and a mission with no mechanicals or injury.
