Diplomacy Has Its Rewards
We traveled to the Central Constellation to rendezvous with CurbBurner and ElCyclone. Also MegaSeth piloted USB Chrome Pony solo to Central, then we picked up a new recruit, MIA. We fueled up on a moon next to Luna Middle east. After an extensive period of time we set off for the Allston System.
Upon arrival at the colony we were allowed to land inside the space station, and in a private hanger no less. Apparently one of the inhabitants of the space station was being relocated, so the hangar was empty. At the colony we allowed the Carbon Based Units to examine our craft. Some were interested in recruitment. Information was exchanged. We met one CBU named Matthew who was moving to Galaxy HI, and wanted to donate his civilian ships to SCUL. No less than fifteen hulls were donated in all. Needless to say we were very happy indeed.
Upon departing we allowed the civilians to try out the ships, as is the custom with SCUL. One left on the ElCyclone belonging to UmLaut, and did not return for quite a while. This was disconcerting for all in SCUL. Search partied were sent but to no avail. Eventually the civilian returned, informing us that he had gotten lost. However this made us a bit less trusting of strangers. Now we tend to escort the pilot with a wing man or two. We finally departed. UmLaut returned back to his Fort, and the rest of us set course for Fort Francis. On the way back we stopped in at the Space Derby, where we raced around for a bit. A CBU tried out USB Envy, and had an unusual way of sitting in the cockpit. We returned to Fort Francis without further incident.
