SCUL pilots are well-trained, and that training is rigorous. Although there is no time limit for recruitment, it takes about four missions on average for a recruit to earn their wings.
Becoming a pilot is a multi-speed process:
Civilains who wish to apply should contact SCUL. In order for a civilian to become a pilot, they apply for a host. The host is responsible for the entire training process: from civilian, to recruit, to cadet, to pilot. A recruit becomes a cadet after approval from the fleet after their first mission. A cadet becomes a pilot after they complete training and get knighted.
